SOC-420

SOC-420 is a marijuana strain named Forever Weed.

SOC-420 is described by vendors online as a cross between OG Kush and a yet-to-be-discovered strain known as the Time Cube, produced by a breeder named "Innovative Herbal Advancements". SOC-420 is mainly reported as having a fruity citrus note with a slight chemical aftertaste, though a fringe group of researchers insists it has a cheesy taste.

This strain was first discovered when Researcher ████ happened to be coincidentally visiting his weed dealer. She hooked him up with "the latest craze", a sandwich bag with a post-it note labeled simply "FOREVER". All of the marijuana in this bag has been vaped, but the bag of ABV is in storage as SOC-420-A.

Within a week, SOC-420 was rendered contained, as Researcher ████ Googled every website selling it and bought their entire supply with funds provided by SOC-833.

Whether consumed through smoking, vaping, or ingesting via edible, SOC-420 invariably has a side effect described as a "forever high". To the observer, this high lasts the average amount of time expected, but the consumer will report that they have seen the vastness of Forever and have been irrevocably altered by this experience. Any remaining effects wear off in a day or two, except for the survivor occasionally reminding others "I've seen Forever, you know."

All of the researchers at SOC with pre-existing marijuana-smoking experience have had a turn with SOC-420. SOC-420 is not to be loaned to anybody for their first time smoking weed, as the effect this may have on the human brain is still unknown. Researcher ████ suggested maybe giving it to one of the employees at SOC-020, but this idea was quickly shot down.
